Frequently asked questions

Do you set up and dismantle the equipment?

Yes, for insurance purposes and to ensure the equipment is set up safely, a member of our team will handle the setup. Once set up, the equipment should not be moved. If you prefer a different orientation, feel free to discuss it with our staff, and if it's safe, we can make the adjustment.

If you require an early drop-off with significant time before the equipment is used, we are happy to set it up for you. You will only need to switch it on at the wall prior to the event, without touching or adapting the equipment.

What time will you arrive and collect?

We can coordinate with you to establish a drop-off and pick-up time slot around your event. If you have hired a hall, please allow at least 30 minutes on either side of your event time to provide us with some flexibility. Time 2 Bounce Ltd cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, or weather conditions.

My event goes on until late, how late can you collect?

If your event has a late finish, please discuss this with us. There may be times when we can organize late collections. Alternatively, you can hire the inflatable overnight for collection the following morning, for an additional charge. This should be requested at the time of booking, and the location must be secure.

Do you hire outside all year round?

No, we do not offer outdoor bookings from October to March due to weather conditions. During this period, gardens and fields become muddy, making the ground stakes insecure. Additionally, the inflatables can become wet, damp, and dirty, and the cold weather prevents us from drying the equipment before storing it.

Can I have a face painter at the event/party?

Face paints can permanently stain the inflatables. It is the responsibility of the hirer to check the inflatables every 10 minutes to ensure any face paints have been wiped off. If face paint permanently stains the equipment, the hirer will be charged for this. We recommend using a face painter towards the end of the party, prior to leaving, to prevent the face paint from getting ruined due to sweat.

What happens if the weather is poor?

Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather, and sometimes we may have to cancel for safety reasons. If there is a high chance of rain or high wind speeds/gusts, your booking will be cancelled. In this event, there will be no charge to the customer, and we will contact you as soon as possible. If an indoor venue can be found, we can change the delivery location.

What do I do if it rains?

In the event of rain, please leave the inflatable inflated. Ensure all children are safely removed from the inflatable. Once the rain has stopped, wipe down the inflatable thoroughly before allowing children to use it again. If you have any concerns, please contact Time 2 Bounce for assistance.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver up to 20 miles from OX14 4RF. If your location is further than this, please get in contact. If we have capacity, we may be able to help, although this may come at an additional charge.

Do I need to provide anything?

Only access to a power supply.

Do the electric blowers use a lot of electricity?

No, despite the size and volume of the blower, it only costs approximately 18p an hour to run.

What sort of surface do you need for the inflatables?

All inflatables for outdoor hire must be inflated on real grass only to ensure they are securely staked. We do not hire inflatables on artificial grass, tarmac, concrete, or any other hard surface.

How safe are your castles?

All our castles are tested annually by a fully qualified PIPA (Professional Inflatable Play Association) inspector to ensure they meet current safety standards. Additionally, all our electrical equipment, such as blowers and extension cables, are PAT tested yearly. Copies of certificates for PIPA and PAT tests are available upon request.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have Public Liability insurance up to £10,000,000. However, we cannot be held liable for any injuries caused while the inflatable is on hire to you. You, the hirer, are responsible for supervision.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is required before or on delivery. You can make the payment via card, cash, or bank transfer.
